FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Toronto ON - The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation announced today that more than half of all available tickets have already been sold for its 2008 Home Lottery for Cancer Research.
"The initial response from supporters has been fantastic," comments Paul Alofs, President & CEO of The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
All of the World's Greatest Grand Prize Showhomes are experiencing great visitor traffic. Feedback on this year's prize package has been very positive, as evidenced by the new interactive VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE PRIZE HOME function on the lottery's website.
"The Home Lottery has a strong tradition of selling out early so we encourage those who wish to participate to buy early!" adds Alofs.
Those who purchase their lottery tickets prior to the Early Bird Ticket Sales Deadline of April 17, will also be entered for the Early Bird Prize draw for a fully furnished cottage in the Kawartha Lakes, complete with private boat slip, and valued at over $590,000. Other prizes include the latest vehicle models, worldwide vacations, leisure and home electronics prizes.
Full details and descriptions of all 34,555 prizes and virtual tours of all the Grand Prize Showhomes can be viewed online at HelpConquerCancer.ca
Since 1996, The Princess Margaret lotteries have raised over $166 million to support cancer research at The Princess Margaret, one of the top five cancer research hospitals in the world.
